The dynamic and talented Queensland Theatre Company Youth Ensemble turn their attention to Shakespeare in this modern look at power and love. Lurking behind all the pomp and ceremony of being a figure of authority lies the greatest equalizer of them all: Death. This tragi-comic look at what it means to be human draws on some of the greatest Shakespearean works including Richard II, Hamlet, Macbeth, Henry VI, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Richard III, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew and Othello. A cast of forty bring the Bille Brown Studio to life in a funny and furious fight for supremacy.
