EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Queensland Theatre & Contemporary Asian Australian Performance (CAAP) Acting Workshop

CAAP and Queensland Theatre invite Expressions of Interest from members of the Asian Australian Performance community wishing to participate in a free week long Acting Workshop facilitated by Queensland Theatre’s Associate Artistic Director Paige Rattray. Previous acting experience is NOT required.

The workshop will focus on scene work using Active Analysis. The skills explored will be acting techniques, connecting physical and psychological action with text, improvising scenes and building character.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend the workshop taking place at Queensland Theatre from Monday 30 January – Friday 3 February 2017.

Dates: Monday 30 January – Friday 3 February 2017 
Workshop hours: 10am – 6pm daily 
Venue: Queensland Theatre, 78 Montague Road, South Brisbane 

Submissions close 5pm Tuesday 13 December 2016 

Please note: Participation in the workshop is unpaid but free of charge. Interstate applicants are welcome to apply but priority will be given to Queensland based artists.
