Queensland Theatre's Youth Ensembles enable motivated, passionate and talented young performers to develop their skills at the State's Flagship Theatre Company. During the yearlong programs, participants will train with the country’s finest theatre professionals, see the pick of shows from the 2018 mainstage season, and engage in a variety of performance opportunities.

Queensland Theatre has secondment opportunities for tertiary students who are enrolled in a work place learning subject
TRW is a week-long theatre camp for students in the September school holidays. Students (Yr 9-12) participate in intensive skills development workshops, view live performances, network with leading artists and work with over 100 like-minded young people from all over Queensland.
about Theatre Residency Week
TRACTION is a program of free weekly workshops for young people currently in secondary schooling and up to the age of 21, who live in the Logan area. Participants work with professional actors and artists through workshops in acting, movement and dance, singing, writing, directing and devising, technical production and stage management.
Queensland Theatre is committed to supporting and developing the work of talented young writers through The Young Writers’ Group and the Young Playwrights’ Award.
